I am currently a Max Weber Fellow lecturer at the European University Institute in Florence.
In 2015, I received my doctorate from the University of Amsterdam for the dissertation ‘The Future in the Past: Victory, Defeat and Grand Strategy in the US, UK, France and Germany’. Before pursuing my doctoral research, I was a policy analyst at the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies.
I have worked as a lecturer at the University of Amsterdam and Leiden University, with a focus on international security, grand strategy, and US-European relations.
